1. General
Sektor Gaming has been a multi-gaming organization since the beginning in 2008. This includes that we support several teams, spread out over a couple of games.
We haven’t got any professional news writers yet, but though we try to get our community updated by posting scene-news, putting the latest downloads up for download and organizing several cups / leagues.
In the beginning of 2008 Sektor started with its own Enemy Territory team. Not long after that, a Call of Duty 4 team was added.
Both teams played on a reasonable level for months, but when both teams were cut out of our ranks, we decided to look for teams at a higher level. After the first quarter of 2009 we started recruiting teams at the highest level. This spread out over ET, COD4, COD5 and CSS.
After our Spanish ET-team became champions of Spain, they went inactive, there’s where we have chosen to stop supporting this scene. Until recently.
With dedicated minds behind the name of ‘Sektor Gaming’ we never gave up and now have a decent list of teams we support. With TF2, COD4, and our CSS.UK and CSS.FI teams being the four professional teams we support, we have SOF2, COD:MW2, CSS and ET as community teams. We’re glad to have these men on board, but also wish to expand in the future.

2. Management
The Sektor Gaming Management is splitted into 2 sections. The First part included the main crew. These are the persons that determine the main decisions that handle the future of Sektor and manage everything so nothing goes wrong. The 2nd part are all the employees that stick their spare time in the teams. These people are responsible for newsposts, downloads, cups, … They have their voice in the management of Sektor Gaming as well of course.
The main crew exists out of 4 people. 3 Belgians and 1 Brittain. The CEO, Arne ‘Boetn’ Claerebout, is responsable for all the paperwork, such as contracts and is the webmaster.
Together with the ‘newest’ addition, Ryan ‘$arGe’ Sargent, Gert ‘mnKy’ Weltens deals with the recruiting of teams, information and administration of cups. Thibault ’Bote’ Heylen is responsable for sponsors and community relations.
With 3 Belgians and 1 Britain it’s easy to guid teams to any LAN. Ryan goes with teams to the i-series and as the past learns us, Arne accompanied teams to OOF3, based in Antwerp.
Every manager has been chosen based on his talent. And so we try to use all of these talents at its full power, and try to give everybody the job they can do best. Same as the employees, so we can give this organization some strong foundations and we can say we have possibilities to grow big.

3. The teams
Each and every of our teams are carefully chosen by Gert and Ryan. They follow every footstep of the communities and look out for any new team we could add to our ranks. Before adding a team, there are many and long interviews to get to the bottom of every team, what are their intentions, what about the future? Everything we need to know before granting them our trust.
After that we comment on that, and every member of the management gets his say. We are used to giving teams a trailing period to see if they aren’t just talented, but also community-worthy. With this we mean our teams have to wear the name ‘Sektor Gaming’ with pride and have to put our sponsor in a bright daylight.
If the team seems to pass after a month of trailing, we gladly accept these people in our community.
Our sponsors will always be made aware of what teams Sektor Gaming will add, and ask their opinion about it. Sponsors are also allowed to give suggestions of which game Sektor should recruit in.

3.1 Pro teams

3.1.1 UK.CSS
CSS.UK has been at Sektor for a while now. They’re dedicated gamers and have proven themselves already in online and offline events. Below you can find some achievements of this team:

At the moment they are at the 12th spot at the Open Enemydown-Ladder (5v5), which is the main ladder for CSS. We think they have the potential to be a top 10 team.
These are some of their recent results, but many to come! As they already have plans to go to the next I-series event: i39 in April 2010.
They also play in the following cups: Pro-CSS Division 1, EDCSSL Division 2, Sektor Open Tournament, Enemydown Down 2v2 Tournament as well as various leagues and ladders in EnemyDown, ESL, TheSGL.

3.1.2 FI.CSS
Our most recent addition is the Finish CSS-team. After long discussions between us and the teamcaptains, we decided to take them because of their potential of growing big. They have got some staggering results, which prove they belong at the top of the Scandinavian CSS-scene.
Attending LANTrek in January 2010, this team is one of the favorites to take first place.

At the moment the main leagues they play in ESL and CB, but with the advice of Sektor they start playing in EnemyDown, SGL and Pro-CSS next year, in January.

3.1.3 Team Fortress 2
After some changes in the roster recently, the TF2-team definitely needs their mention. After their promotion to division 2 at the ETF2L. They ended up 2nd in their group, with 11 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss I think it’s fair to say these guys are doing really well.
Not only in ETF2L, but also at ESL they’re doing well with being 3rd in division 2a at ESL TF2 6on6 League Season IV.
Since this team hasn’t been together for that long, the list of accomplishment isn’t that long, but some fair achievements are here to be mentioned:

3.1.4 Call of Duty 4
It's been a while since you have seen Sektor Gaming on COD4 at professional level. The time has come to bring back COD4 to us, mostly because after the dissapointings of the multiplayer of COD:MW2, the COD4-scene rised again. With new tournaments hosted by Heaven Esports and LANs considering COD4 back as a maincompo, we decided Sektor can't do without a decent COD4squad.
Being only active in Clanbase ladders and the Xvera-Scandinavian Cup at the moment, the achievement list is short, but impressive:

»Placed 43th at the 5v5 Clanbase ladder. (1909 active teams in this ladder)
»Won several Xvera-one-night-cups.

3.2 Community teams

3.2.1 Call of Duty 6
The current COD:MW2 team used to play COD4. When the new version of the COD-series came out, they switched to playing this game. For now they train online and wait on a way to really play wars and leagues. The only ladder that active is at the moment is the ClanBase 3v3 S&D Ladder, where they are placed 16th out of 208 teams. The results don’t really matter
with the community teams, but they’re doing fairly good at the moment, so we might consider moving them up to a professional team in the future.

3.2.2 Soldiers of Fortune 2
The SOF2-team is one bunch of close friends. Many of them know each other really well in real life, so the atmosphere in the group is very good. They continuously play wars against other teams, but because of the lack of competitions, the SOF2 can’t be a professional team. They belong at the top of the game, doing nothing else as winning, they are suspected to end in the top 3 at the Sektor Gaming Open SOF2 Tournament, a cup hosted by Sektor Gaming.

4. Sponsoring

Like you could read above, this is our sponsor application. We thought it was necessary to introduce us so you know who we are and what we do. We think this is important to have an understanding from both sides.
The will of growing large is here and we can’t do this without the help from other companies.
